Our library matters. For more than 50 years the Talkeetna Library has stood as the heart and hub of our community. It’s a haven for information, inspiration, and imagination. It brings the world to our community and our community to the world. It unites and connects us through the information we find inside its doors.

Friends of the Talkeetna Library
Some books have heroes…others need them. Friends of the Talkeetna Library are library champions. Since 2003, we have raised funds and built local collaborations to expand programs and resources to change lives and build a stronger community across the Upper Susitna Valley.

Monthly Meetings
From January to June and from September through December, the Friends of Talkeetna Library meet in the Community Resource Room from 1-3pm on the second Friday of the month.
